CAMPAIGN READINESS
Your campaign initiative is innovative, exciting, ambitious, and worthy of support, so says the Feasibility Study, Reediness Assessment, or the Update, Perceptions & Impressions Listening Tour Report. However, the study has uncovered issues needing attention to become ‘campaign ready’. Examples of issues I have discovered during a study include not having met all legal requirements to engage in fundraising activities, Board of Directors not quite consisting of members who have affluence and influence and where not even the Board is of consensus around the campaign plan and goal.
Sometimes lacking is a long-range plan with written goals or a marketing and publicity plan. Several months might be required to shore-up these and other issues toward becoming Campaign Ready.
